Title: The roles of teacher in reducing general anxiety disorders of children with speech delay

Abstract

One of the critical problems in children's mental health is anxiety. In children with speech delay disorders in kindergarten, the main problem that occurs is because they experience fear of being separated from those closest to them. This is because without those closest to them, they are unable to communicate with other people, so when they are at school, they experience anxiety. This research aims to describe the role of teachers in the anxiety experienced by early childhood speech delay children. The method used in this research is a case study using observation methods and in-depth interviews with teachers who work with children who experience anxiety. The role of teachers is very diverse, including preparing individual curricula, providing the right stimulus, and motivating and gathering support within the school environment. In this case, the involvement of school elements is essential to help children grow.
