Title: Grief saved my life

Abstract

I offer a candid insight on the often-excruciating process of moving through and with loss? Grief much like a wave peaks and troughs, there?s no linearity or rules, just a burdening weight that consumes those only when they let it. Leveraging my poetic ability and storytelling I take the audience on a visceral journey through loss, providing them with the tools and infrastructure to deal with any future loss they may face- and how Storytelling is a great vehicle for growing through growth 

Biography

At 19 years old I lost my mum after a harrowing 11-year battle with cancer, over the years I have used my lived experience for good. I set up a Grief consultancy business to improve the grief practises within the workplace. I have worked with organizations of all sizes. From the FTSE 100 to organization with 5 employees, my strategies have helped thousands within the workforce. At the heart of my work, I write bespoke poetry, which is performed at corporate conferences and events. I have written and performed pieces for Sky, BBC, Lloyd?s banking group, EBRD, and even Parliament. My podcast Living with Loss, where I talk to young people about their experiences with grief is an internationally credited podcast receiving over 200,000 downloads during its duration , and in 2023 I received the Storyteller award for my
