To assess professor’s multiplicity role activities (educational, researcher and administrative) and burnout syndrome was design and validated an instrument in 2021. The instrument considered Maslach, Arquero and Donoso instruments as reference. It was validated by 4 experts and a sample of 30 professors, obtaining 0.425 for the Kendall coefficient and 0.953 for the Alpha Cronbach coefficient, respectively. The instrument has been applied in representative samples for full-time professors in three cases of Public Universities of Northwest Mexico. Application of the instrument found that professors with tenure reported lower presence of burnout syndrome. Personal accomplishment dimension reported highest burnout level in the three cases, for role administrative activities. Our outcome underlines that administrative role and not having tenure induce more burnout syndrome for professors. 

Luz Olivares-Fong has completed his PHD in 2021 from Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana-FUNIBER, Mexico. Since 2014, full time professor at Universidad Autonoma de Baja California (UABC) for Industrial Engineering program. She is the leader of clime organization department of Engineering Faculty at UABC campus Mexicali, Mexico. She has over 10 publications that have been cited 49 times. She has been serving as a reviewer of reputed journals. She has participated in projects of Innovation-Conacty. Interesting areas include engineering materials, manufacturing process, sustainable development and organizational behavior. She has participated in national and international conferences. She has work experience in industry, mainly in continuous improvement projects, training and process documentations for testing certification.C
