Title: The Psychology of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Modern Workplace

Abstract

Corporations are today under greater societal pressure to implement strategies in diversity, equity and inclusion. But despite many DEI teams and initiatives existing, neurodivergent candidates are often overlooked in the diversity conversation and in hiring efforts by HR teams.

But hiring neurodivergent team members is a foundational part of the overall HR and workforce challenge and solution. Providing different ways of thinking, this group can help lead the way to innovative solutions and give companies a competitive advantage when marketing to the consumer. An increasing number of global companies are already working in this space and much can be learned from them already, these include Deloitte, Microsoft, Ford and SAP.
