Title: Self-esteem, affectivity and urogenital functional in Parkinson´s syndrome.

Abstract

Parkinson?s syndrome showed problems in different areas of their life, consequence of multiples factor, that which could affect the self-esteem, to influence in the state of I encourage, and to interfered in the quality of live.  To identify the relationship between self-esteem, affectivity and function urogenital in Parkinson?s syndrome.  A descriptive, retrospective and longitudinal study carried out in 18 patients with Parkinson?s syndrome, attended in Clinic Neurophysiologic Service of International Center for Neurological Restoration. It reported medium level of self-esteem in the 50 % of patients. The anxiety state (medium and high 44%); anxiety feature (high 61%). The depression state (high 67%) and feature (medium 61.1%). All of patients show (100%) urogenital dysfunction (level 10, severe 8). We obtain negative relation (rp=-0.82) between depression feature and self-esteem in level urogenital dysfunction. Patients showed affectivity manifestation; urogenital dysfunction; and moderate self-esteem. There were significant correlations between self-esteem and personalities depressive feature in level urogenital dysfunction patients.

Biography

Marilyn Zaldivar Bermudez graduated with a degree in Psychology in 2012 from the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Havana, Cuba. He completed his specialty in health psychology 2016 at the Victoria de Giron University of Medical Sciences, Cuba. He is the head of the Department of Neuropsychology at the International Center for Neurological Restoration, Havana, Cuba. He has more than 30 publications in national and international magazines.
