Title: The impact of violence promoted through social media on the adoption of violent tendencies among Algerian youth

Abstract

This comprehensive study addresses the significant issue of youth exposure to violent and extremist content disseminated through social media platforms in Algeria. The research focuses on understanding the detrimental impact of continuous exposure to such content on Algerian youth, specifically examining how it contributes to the provocation of violent tendencies among them. 

Additionally, the study delves into the process through which the provocation of violence evolves into a form of indoctrination, leading to the realistic practice of violence and extremism. Moreover, it explores how certain groups exploit social media platforms as avenues for propagating violence, recruiting young individuals into criminal and terrorist organizations. By analyzing the correlation between social media usage and the emergence of violent tendencies, the research adopts a communicative psychological approach, shedding light on the psychological effects of virtual interactions and their influence on individuals' behavior and identities. Ultimately, this study aims to enhance our understanding of the consequences of youth exposure to violent content online and its implications for Algerian society.
